This is part 1. I was proficient at Acad 3d drawing some years back and largely still proficient with 2d cad drawing. This is part 1 and lays a foundation to continue on to part 2. These books both seem to be directed toward someone with some degree of cad skills and some knowledge of autodesk inventor 2017 studentenversion free drafting.
I would rate the book fairly high on the tutorial guide however, it does start skipping the actual tutorial instruction and expects you to know how to draw certain parts. This is not a problem but it would be a welcome addition for there to be a note or signal that the reader is expected to draw the part shown.

The book progresses from learning the basics of Inventor to more and more challenging and advanced topics. Software is the same.. There's no difference.. After 2 or 3 weeks or even the full days and they are sure all parts of the software is running normally, then click Activate.
When you Activate your student Serial Number your day trial will automatically be converted into a free 3-yr student license. As long as Autodesk continues this program which all indications are indefinitely you can download each new release as a student and Activate a brand new 3-yr license each year you are in school. So effectively, you have a perpetual license while in school. I have downloads of educational software in Autocadd, Revit and Inventor It has been a year since I last downloaded but I do not recall getting windows that I did in this case.
I did try to activate but it rejected the serial and key numbers. Will try to launch and run and see what happens. Instructor not much help on our personal computers. Thanks for the help I get on the forums. Every Autodesk product and version that you are entitled to under the educational community requires its own serial and product key. If you haven't requested to have Inventor then you need to do that first to obtain your serial. Next the product keys for are a little confusing..

Also, you can have this software only for educational purposes. When I go to verify my eligibility it takes me to this screen where I have to upload something showing proof that I am enrolled and or work there. In previous years or even a couple months ago this was not a thing to my knowledge.
In past years I have used my teams name and that worked perfectly fine. Getting down to what I need to know is if anyone else has had this problem and if so how did you go about fixing it or working around it?! Capture3 x Supposedly Autodesk is going to email me about it later today I contacted them a few days ago and they said they would get back to me today.
